Polyurethane Concrete Leveling

Polyurethane Concrete Leveling, Stabilization, and Void Filling

Concrete raising is typically about half the cost of replacing the same concrete. Polyurethane concrete raising and mudjacking are two methods used to raise and support sunken concrete slabs, by drilling holes and pumping material under the concrete slab.

What types of concrete can you level?

We have experience leveling patios, floors, sidewalks, curbs, basements, stairs, driveways, pool decks and much more... If your concrete has settled or is uneven, we can help!

Why Choose Polyurethane Concrete Leveling?

  • Cost Effective: high-density polyurethane lifting and stabilization avoids the costly tear out and replacement of existing concrete.
  • Quick Cure Time: typically, polyurethane cures within 15 minutes after injection. With this short time span, you're able to walk the area, even on hot days.
  • Hydrophobic: specifically designed polyurethane can be used underwater or in wet conditions.
  • Moisture Barrier: this foam-like material is resistant to water penetration.
  • Lightweight: polyurethane only weighs 2-4 lbs per cubic foot (meaning it will not overburden your soil).
  • 5/8" Injection Holes: the injection holes for a polyurethane leveling is approximately the size of a dime. This allows for less visible patching.

Polyurethane Leveling Process

Mr. Level uses a polyurethane foam method that uses the concrete slab itself as a means of delivering poly foams that raise the concrete, fill voids, and stabilize soil.

We drill a 5/8" hole into the slab, then a tapered delivery port installs into that same hole. The injection gun is connected to the port, and the injection gun delivers the polyurethane material through the port and slab. Expansion of the material occurs within seconds, compressing loose soils and raising concrete.

Polyurethane vs. Mudjacking

Polyurethane's ease of material process and clean-up are some distinct advantages over traditional mudjacking with grout.

Polyurethane Mudjacking
  • won't move
  • moves once it has been driven over enough
  • you can drive over it immediately
  • can't drive over it for a few days
  • drill hole: dime size
  • drill hole: dollar size
  • creates a bridge under the ground so it will not folly it and sink
  • will sink
